Nick Congelossi was born and raised in New York. He earned his B.A. in Environmental Policy & Law from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 2007. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando and was admitted to the Florida bar in 2012, and is a Member of the Middle District of Florida Federal Bar. Mr. Congelossi serves as an active member of the Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Section and volunteers as a mentor to Central Florida law students.
After graduation from law school Mr. Congelossi accepted an internship with the Ninth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, where he aided in the prosecution of DUI, Domestic Violence and Felony crimes including narcotics, trafficking, theft and violent crimes. During Mr. Congelossi’s internship with the prosecutor’s office, defense attorney Joe Castrofort took notice of Nick’s initiative and passion for criminal law.
After leaving the prosecutor’s office Mr. Congelossi was invited to become an associate at the Law Office of Joe Castrofort. Under the mentorship of Joe Castrofort he has continued to hone his skills and learned the nuances of being a Criminal Defense Attorney. Nick’s philosophy is to constantly learn, and push further, with special attention to developing a client oriented approach to his cases.
